Brighton Show

Charity Supported:
Event Description:
The Brighton Show is an annual community event “where you can catch a glimpse of rural life, something for everyone, from young and old”, and is one of the League Of Heroes’ largest fundraising events. The League of Heroes Tasmania is a “not for profit group of everyday individuals who take on the guise of super heroes and heroines to support other charities through participating in fundraising events”. This year the fundraising was done for League of Heroes themselves, who are only four members strong and must provide their own public liability insurance to be able to attend and help fundraise for community and charity events, a costly endeavour. With the help of costumed members from D’Qar Outpost, 501st Legion Thylacine Squad, and League of Heroes-who provided photo ops, high fives, and general interaction with the crowd-$52.15 was raised from donations.
