Hillsides Star Wars Day Xmas Visit, Pasadena

On Saturday December 02nd 2017, more than 50 costumed characters from the 501st Legion’s Southern California Garrison, Rebel Legion’s Sunrider Base, as well as members from the Mandalorian Mercs, Saber Guild, and The Dark Empire, plus a host of wranglers (or squires) invaded Hillsides children’s group home in Pasadena, California, for the third holiday season in a row, marking the tenth overall visit to the facility since the clubs began an annual visit there in 2011, now twice annually. Children in residence there got to select which Star Wars character they wanted to receive a gift from, and each child received a gift-wrapped Star Wars action figure, accordingly. The kids were stoked to each be given an action figure gift, from a live action figure! We then mingled with the children for photos and answered their Star Wars questions, and then ate donuts with the kids before having a group photo and declaring another mission accomplished.
