Event Description:
Details: We weren't sure how this troop would go. The movie has been out for a while, and we knew weren't going to see the flood of excited people we saw in December. But we picked it up and as soon as Eliza's Smart Pup was announced as the charity, the roster filled quickly with enthusiastic troopers.
What we didn't consider were the people seeing other movies. We ended up doing a lot of photos, and the donations were generous too. The flow of people was steadier and more spread out than we see at the midnight premiere.
Event Cinemas again looked after us with the spacious conference room to change in, along with drinks and snacks and $200 for Eliza. They also had a photographer who shared an album on their Facebook page.
A big thanks to my social club at work. When I explained what we were trooping for they gave me $300 cash to put in the buckets.
Thanks to all the troopers, Squid and Starz for wrangling and photos, and Inara was great for the kids. It turned out to be a great troop with a great result for Eliza. Well done all
