Walk For Kids With Apraxia

Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a very challenging and complicated speech disorder in children that makes it difficult or impossible to accurately produce sounds, syllables and or words despite having a good understanding of language. The Walk for Children with Apraxia of Speech® provides an opportunity for local families to come together, to educate the community, and to raise awareness as well as funds to benefit important CASANA programs and research. Legion members joined in on the opening ceremonies for the walk. We were there to provide a fun atmosphere and lots of photo ops!
